Founded 1991, set up initially as outlet for dj’s Orin Walters and Nick Prince’s music production with school friends Andy
Hefft & Russell Bryce, leaning mostly towards House, Breaks & Hip hop sounds.
A main influencer, close friend and label contributor was the late Phil Asher who helped bring more US sounds to the label with his Crazy mofo's , Underground Enthusiasts and Black N Spanish acts.

I have a good few in my collection from Mousetrap since right back in the early 90's. it's only recently I joined the dots that this release, and the label, owed a debt to the one we know as BITA SWEET Records honcho & BITA collective member Orin Walters, AKA Afronaught. The vinyl release here is not a reissue, it is original deadstock! so jump on it for a collector's bargain. Happy find 👌
